The music-dancing group "Nea Choria Lefkada" participated with its choral section at the event entitled "The Ionians Sing Always", which took place on Saturday 13 January 2018 and at 20: 30 at the Athens Concert Hall, in the "Christos Lambrakis" Hall.

Our choir, under the artistic direction of the maestro Maria-Kyriaki Aravani, performed a monster and impressive appearance and fully responded to the high expectations of the music fans who flooded the event hall.

The choir was accompanied by the recently re-established band of Mantolinas, which brought true hentaine sound and unique melodies.

It is a special distinction for the Lefkada New Choir, the presence of its choral department at the Athens Concert Hall, a cultural venue that has hosted the greatest artistic personalities and world-class performances.

Also with our participation was the cultural culture of Lefkada and the unwavering dedication of this place to speech, music education and poetry through the lyrics and melodies of prominent Lefkadian poets and musicians such as Aristotelis Valaoritis, Dionisis Grapsas, Dionysis Georgakis, Ilias Georgakis, Spyros Philipas, Vassilis Sideris, Nikos Vlachos and our many years conductor, Argeitis in origin but Lefkadios in the soul, Manos Diamantis.

The Lefkimmi Corfu Choir, the Choir of Livathos Kefalonia and the Choir of Zakynthos "Levante's Fiere" also took part in the event, with very remarkable masters, chorus and musicians, whom we congratulate on their artistic presence and their contribution to the success of the Ionian- music evening.
